Linda Sue DeSmedt, 57 of Grand Junction passed away at Aspen Ridge Care Center on May 25, 2005. Linda was born Feb. 16, 1948 to John and Dora (Oman) Thompson at Duluth, Minn. where she was raised and graduated from Central High School. On July 17, 1971 she married Richard DeSmedt who preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2002 in Grand Junction. Mrs. DeSmedt was a homemaker. She will be greatly missed by her mother and daughter as well as the four cats she loved so much. Surviving Linda are her mother, Dora Thompson, daughter, Melanie DeSmedt both of Grand Junction, and her brother Richard Thompson of Duluth, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard DeSmedt and father, John Thompson
