Marsha Diane Keuten, 75, passed away on September 18, 2023. She was born July 26, 1948, to Leo and Elma Maki. Marsha was a 1966 Duluth Central HS graduate and worked for the US Post Office for 35 years, retiring in 2011. She was happy reading and watching movies at her Island Lake home. She loved attending the MN State Fair, cheering on her MN Vikings, talking politics with everyone and watching her favorite political shows. She also loved visiting with her friends, family, and anyone she came into contact with in the medical field, especially Dr. Erik Sather.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roger Lee Maki, and the love of her life, Donald Keuten. Marsha is survived by her sons, Shane LaMontagne and Lance Keuten; her daughter, Summer LaMontagne (Angie); beloved dog, Molly; grandchildren, Michael, Jaden, Anthony, Trey, Ben, Christina, Alan, Trinity, Seth, Henry, Declan, and great-granddaughter, Everly; her sister, Patty (Tapio) Toivonen and her brother, Scott Maki (Eda Kangas); nephews, Brian and Kevin, and nieces, Brooke and Jennifer.
We are having a celebration of life at her home on September 30th, 2-4 p.m.
